Front Brake Calipers - ATE vs Bendix?
I am replacing the front calipers on my 84 300SD and have an ATE caliper on the left and an ATE on the right side. I'm not sure how/why that happened, but I am going to replace them both with either ATE or Bendix across the front.
Is there any significant difference between the two? For that matter, is there any difference at all? Last edited by thorsen; 01-26-2006 at 09:09 PM. |

Asa far as I know, the left side IS the drivers side . Anyway. Just did the same job on my w123. Calipers looked the same, act the same. Bendix were MUCH cheaper in my case. That's why I went with them. Just make sure to replace them in pairs.

Just did mine
I put on the ATE factory remans.
They work great. Lawson's Quality Imported Parts in Raleigh NC has a great price on them. 919-878-0140 Lawson Stallings is the owner. Great guy. I replaced mine in pairs.
