I bought a fully rebuilt and tested valve body from these folks for about $200: http://wesellhardparts.com/ ask for Flo. I highly recommend them. Be prepared to give them the valve body number stamped in ink on the valve body case and the name of your business.

I don't either, but I was sole proprietor of "Burton Automotive" which just happened to be doing its thing inside the garage attached to my house on the very day that I placed my order.

Related question, my 84 valvebody has mostly black bolts but several (~6) light colored (silver or gold) bolts. Is there a diagram that shows the correct location for those 6 bolts?

Thanks,
Tad

valvebody screws 722.3 autotrans 84 300D turbo

Nazrat, going by the ATSG manual for 722.3,4 it shows two different sets of scews, one is marked 7a of which there are 3 on right side of case( pass. side)they are gold colored on mine and shorter than the rest, they are black and longer. hope this helps you out. the black screws were marked 7 in the manual. bubbaz

valvebody for 722. autotrannie, 84 300D turbo

Diesel Giant, I wasn't able to get valvebody from source Pete referred me to. they said they didn.t have part # 126 270 2815, the number stamped on body in ink. I imagine whatever caused spring & valve to goof up in no. 2 accumulator passage in VB probabley blew the k2 clutch pack, thus no 4th gear???? bubbaz
