curious electrical gremlin
'85 300TD w123
Once in a while, I press the leftmost button on the ACC panel (defogger), and the windshield wipers will make a single pass. The ACC operates properly other than this. Lately I've decided to do the brushes on the heater fan, however, so while I'm in there, I want to correct this wierd cross current issue. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Same thing happened to my '81 VW Scirocco
I never found the problem, but I suspected it was somewhere around/near/in the fusebox.

Sometimes my seatbelt light comes on in my '85 when I push some of my climate control's buttons. Similar gremlins?
