Angry WHY do people tear apart a perfectly good car!?!

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=8034433044&ru=http%3A%2F%2Fmotors.search.ebay.com%3A80%2F%3Ffrom%3DR40%26satitle%3D8034433044%26fvi%3D1

WHY do people do this? He says "there is absolutely nothing wrong with this car, I am just ripping it apart for salvage" WHY. That car looks just like our 83, and the poor thing only has 160,000km on it and based on that pic its in nice condition!! Thats only 99,000 miles!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ahhhh. He even says in the auction he won't sell the whole car, the psycho! People that ruthlessly kill these cars need to be killed, lets get a band of members together, go to canada, and let this guy have it!

Sigh.

I wasn't planning on buying it or anything, but I sure hope thats the reason, if not, that'd be terrible....who would do that to one of these cars.

Wasn't there another auction similar to this with a W210 diesel not too long ago?

He is probably not a MB person. I know of several people who buy decent vehicles and sell off the parts and make a living. It's a known fact vehicles are worth more in individual parts the as a whole in value.

Probably stolen.

However the 420SEL I parted out if polished up would look good on ebay. Except it was rotted out underneath and everything was broken.
