Clear fuel filter?

Does anyone know a brand that still makes the prefilter for the 617 clear and not opague? And were to buy it? I havent been able to find a complety clear filter and Mercedes are complety solid!

Smile Performance Products has them...

...for 1.50 each. I just bought 5 of them.

I like their line of pre-filters not only because I can see through them, but because they flow "outer to inner", making it much easier to keep an eye on where they stand as far as life span goes. Not to mention I can pop them off and back flush them and use them over again in a pinch. (or for that matter, out of a pinch)

I buy my fuel filters from NAPA up here in canada, and their pre-filters are also opaque, but once you get fuel in them you can still see what's going on.
