FS near Portland, OR
I have a 617 turbo I'd love to drop into this thing.... Too bad I'm already sitting on six W123's!

I have the same car but 4 years newer and half the miles. I guess I can look forward to mine lasting as long.
Forget the diesel. The suspension is not set up to handle the extra weight of the OM engine. You'd also take all the fun out of that car. With the M102 engine that car is much quicker than an OM powered coupe and MPG's are the same. Parts are easy to get and it's easier to work on than one with the OM. The M102 in that car has more HP than one you'd find in a 190. I'd rather take one of those engines and drop it in a 300D.
