Looks like they had to remove it to fit in that battery. They must have pulled that thing out of a tank or something.

bulldozer battery. I had one once in a '65 Chevy panel van. I could leave the lights on for days. Had a three-on-the-tree. For demo, you could just put it in first gear and turn the key. It would roll away and start. Low compression six cylinder.
