606 GP relay afterglow

Does anyone know if the afterglow feature on a 99 turbodiesel is temperature regulated or timed? If it is temperature regulated at what temperature does the afterglow feature stop?

I'm pretty sure it's both temperature-regulated and timed, but I don't know at what temperature the afterglow stops working.
