Check out this stock -> Earth Biofuels EBOF.OB

This is the first publically traded biodiesel company that ive been able to find. Come June first when the new pollution standards for ultra-low sulfur fuel hits the market, I can really see a spike in the value of the company. We all know when they cut the sulfur content the only way to meet the lubricity will be to add biodiesel.

Perhaps we should look into other companies that produce methanol and lye? Im sure we will see an increased profit from them as well.

Also companies like ADM - Archer Daniels Midland (largest soybean producer in US) should really take off. Just my $.02

The above paragraph contains forward looking statements and is not insured or guaranteed by the FDIC or any other government agency. It is possible to lose money by investing in the stock market

:D

You don't get "stockbrokers" and "advisors" for slotmachines and slots are a house wins situation. Note we can all play poker online.

I looked into biodiesel stocks a while back. There is a huge list of stocks some publicly traded some not on the Biodiesel Now forum.
Biodiesel Now "Info on Publicly Traded Biodiesel Stocks" thread
Check it out.
I have been watching Earth Biofuels for a couple of moths now. It just took a jump.

nhdoc 02-13-2006 07:28 AM

Just becuse you have stockbrokers and advisors does not mean it not gambling, Its just they take their cut and win no matter what happens to you.:D

SOB I wish I saw this post I would have bought some when it was cheaper. Hmm maybe I still will. Alternitive energy companies are probably a pretty good buy. Besides if gas gets cheap again you can always short them on the way down.:D

pdxwaker 05-11-2006 10:48 AM

Down 10% so far today... just be careful... this stock looks really volatile (you can make lots of $$ or lose lots of $$).

Ahhh... hindsight...

Of course but one can still make money off short lived things. I'm not in the position to at the moment but if that Bio stock fell 90% in one day I could make a lot of money off that drop.:D I dislike the stock market but know that money is made on the up and down sides.

Tell you what, I can put you in the position if you can tell me which day the drop will be. We'll get disgustingly rich together. :greedy:

I'm glad somebody finally said it!

If you buy an OTC stock that is on fire w/ no earnings estimates or other analyst data, no forward p/e or p/e in the mirror you are truly spinning the wheel!

OTC hype is plentiful in spam emails. I hope that's not what's going on here.

Thats the trick. Making money on the way down is the easy part. Figuring out when things are to go down is the hard part. This is why I dislike the stock market.

Yeah dude, I do actually work on cars -> im ASE certified. Lots of experience with gas engines but not with diesel until I bought my MB.

Im holding this stock until oil drops below 60 a barrel, or it runs into serious competition and stops growing. Other stocks im looking at are:

CSBF.PK (will take a bit to get started - maybe we will see revenue later this year when their first plant comes on line. I will hold this stock for a minimum of five years.)

EBOF.OB BABY! (very solid business plan and good foundation. This is the next Microsoft of the biofuel industry - and im referring to the growth, not market domination.)

GSPI.PK (small penny stock with huge profit potential within the next six months! I dont think they will grow very fast though. I plan to sell when the stock levels off after the first solid earning report)

:dancefool <- me dancing on my stock account statements

p5150 05-28-2006 12:57 PM

GSPI is looking pretty promising. Aparently they have figured out how to make biodiesel in 2 minutes.
