NIce 84 300D in SO. FLa
If anyone's interested, I ran into a very nice 84 300D turbo sedan in our parking lot this week. The owner will be selling in a month to get a newer model.
If anyone's interested; it's sort of a nice Mustard Yellow, very nice body and paint, 184,000 on it; Clean interior, well maintained. Downside was says he was told he needs to replace his A/C hoses, and there is some rust in the trunk. This is in Boca Raton, and could probably get pics if anyone is interested.

I'm the owner...
Hi, folks... I am the owner of this '84 300D. I am going to be selling the car in the next couple of months. Here's the deal. The AC hoses are leaking. The compressor and the evaporator are working great as the AC was FREEZING before the leak. I have been told by two reliable Mercedes mechanics that I am looking at around $1400 to fix it and I just don't think the old girl is worth it to me.
I'll post some pics in the next couple of days but here's a description. Yellow, sunroof that works (slowly, but it works), 187000 mi, rust on the trunk interior edge, and a small spot of rust on the exterior of the trunk. The engine is great and when I bought the car about 18 months ago, I put about $1500 into it. I'll detail that stuff tomorrow when I can get to the paperwork. Anyway... if anyone is interested, please have a bit of patience and I'll get the pics posted and the other details squared away. Overall the car is very clean and I get compliments all the time - I take good care of it! Thanks.
