I used to be a Hella/Bosch snob, but when I upgraded to Euros on my w124 last month, I got a set of Depos from ImportVision which are the Taiwanese copies like the TYC's that Katmac sells. Being less than half the price of the Hellas made it a easy sell. I also bought wiring and relays as I planned to run 70/100's as well.
But I was feeling a bit lazy the day I installed the Euros so I skipped the relay/wiring upgrade and just put in a set of regular Hella 55/60 H4's into the Depo units and the light you get is more than 100% better than the stock DOT units. Its so good that I'm holding off on the higher wattage bulb and relays for now. The fit was fine, the light had the nice cutoff with a spread to the upper right (to see signs at night). I don't have a Hella/Bosch lens to compare the thickness, but I'm sure a rock coming off a dump truck would easily crack either one.

I always got cracks in my Hella H4s. A better choice is the Cibie from Valeo. I never had a crack in those.
