Not diesel related, but its still a MB video! and a SWEET one

Check out this 10 minute video about the $340,000 Mercedes SLR Mclaren

Its got tons of footage, tests, and info about it. Pretty awesome. Made by the same guy/show that did the pickup truck destruction, and so on.... "Top Gear"

Wow is that car incredible. 630 hp!!

Link to my server:

Right click this link and do "save as" to download. (warning to those using historic dialup , its 50 megs)

Enjoy!

27 minutes estimated on my cable line. I'll let it run in the background for now and report back in a half hour.

You know you can get an SLR now for around sticker for under $350k, I've heard of a few going for as low as $318k.

Sounds like a good deal....

I could buy up every beautiful W126 I could find with that much money, and build a $75,000 heated storage/repair facility for myself.... (I'd rather do that anyways )

me. too. except 123's. maybe a really nice 3 .5 car garage with 18" concrete floor and hot water heat in the floor. then a external lift. maybe a couple three skylights. space for the bio d processor and oil filter station. outside methanol storage. good stereo system. yeah......a garage. maybe living space above with a kitchen and a shower. i may never come out..
