Best Products for MB-Tex Care

I have perfect MB-Tex so far, and excellent door panels etc. I'd like to keep them that way. At least I think it's tex, looks different than the leather interior on my 4matic did.

Having seen dashboards crack after application of some care products, what does the brain-trust here feel is the best to clean and possibly protect/condition the MB-Tex interior on these cars?

Some have had good luck with a washcloth, warm water, mild soap and elbow grease to clean the MB-Tex periodically. I've had good experiences with Mr. Clean Magic Eraser pads myself. They really get the grime off of the seats and panels, in addition, they can easily remove accumulated brake dust on rims.
