Valentines Day

I'm not to fond of Valentines day. Sure when I was younger I used to be the romantic kind but I'm just fed up with the expectations. Sure I love my wife, but does that mean I have to go through all of this crap expected of our consumer society. Usually my wife has been pretty cool about it I've never really done anything in the past, but I'm getting the feeling she is expecting something this year.

So I got to thinking about this whole love thing and I realized something. I think my 300D is the only thing that LOVES ME unconditionally. Hell even my dogs don't love me sometimes.

Here is the question though....Over the life time of the car.....who costs more
hahaha.....and wich one gives you more attidude and problems :)

Wife/Girlfreind?
Car?

Good thing my wife doesn't' read this forum :D

..and when you are covered in grease, smelling horribly, and exicted to see your car and take her for a spin...

...you aren't met with "uck!...go clean up!!!" haha

Otherwise...I am not even going to touch this one :D Could rant for days :D

You need different dogs.

I didn't have to spend 75 bucks on flowers for my car and It never tells me what to wear. I'm still going to have to say Girlfriend.:whip:

Umm, while they both rule my life, there are some things each one does that the other definately can not do. For that reason I'd have to go with the gf, if it came right down to it. Good thing she'd never make me make that choice. She's very good about letting me spend quality time with my car without complaining too much.

My SDL doesn't love me, our relationship is more like that of Rick Moranis and the plant in Little Shop of Horrors. It just cries "fix me" instead of "feed me". Hell, for 100 bucks I can make the wifey happy for at least a month or two. I don't remember the last major repair on the SDL that cost less than that...

........ain't that the truth........the damn things consume way more than two dozen roses on Valentines day.

Stop whining about the flowers or the chocolate. Just do it. This is one deal that pays back double.;)

Addicted....it is DAMN good thing your wife doesn't read this forum!!

Third wife...I have learned to love the taste you get in your mouth when you bite your tongue. Sometimes the things you don't say can mean the most!

I can say "Yeah Baby! You are right!" with complete sincerity and a straight face...that is not always an easy thing to do...but it has always proven to be a wise move! Think before you speak and don't leave any written evidence laying around.

Having said that...Any car in the world or the red-head...I'm gonna keep the red-head! And yes, there are cards, flowers, and wine standing by (good emotional ammo) because it works!

My friends are bottled. :D Picked up two twelve packs after an uneventful day with the 420SEL. Needs FP reg, cap, rotor, plugs, and wires to start with as well as repair a few broken vac lines. Motor turns over well. :D Perhaps tomorrow. Did find me something else I will almost certainly score this weekend.

A gal I love and am in love with (she knows and accepts this, just timing is poor currently), I purchased her some light hearted gift for her. Stuffed bear and a small card. Simple, effective, and nice. Could have dropped a grip but it's in poor taste and cliché to me.

Well I'm back. Some great posts and advice on there. Yeah I'm here on V-Night typing on this forum cause I'm in the Dog House. I was even cool about the whole holiday. I did the stupid crap like get her flowers, and sorted out her favorite candies from a bag of assorted candy, got her a massage at a place near by (which she cancelled on her own), and brought the dogs (the love of her life) by to see her at work today.

What do I get when I come home. A pissed off wife who threw hot spegetti noodles at me and then in the garbage because I wouldn't agree to going to mexico over spring break. WTF. Sure I'm young 22, But I've been married almost 4 years now and you think I would be better at this game. Everything has been peachy king all week, then BAMB!!! Outa nowhere in the left feild a bunch of noodles. If it wasn't so damn dark and cold I'd spend some time with the car that loves me. I guess I'll just go do some homework.

MB FOR LIFE!!!!!! I don't think this is legal in any of the 50 states but I wish I could change it to MB FOR WIFE!!!!!

Tell me about it Jason,

Let me tell you about my Valentine. We've been together for 1 year and 4 months, we've had our good days, and our bad days, but we always make up in the end and get along again. My Valentine never lets me down, isn't high maintainence, and when we get together, oh let me tell you, my Valentine likes me to do it rough, and hard and long just about EVERY day. (End your dirty thoughts now, I'm talking about Italian Tuneups!):D

Of course I'm talking about my 300D. For Valentine's, I treated it to a full tank of fuel with 4 oz. of Power Service and about three or four Italian Tuneups today, never missing a beat. Best of all, the weather was nice enough today to do some cruising with the sunroof open.

Love? What's that? From my late teens I chose to never get stuck in that place. From watching my parents, uncles, friends, Co-workers, and Jerry Springer, I decided that it's not worth all that BS. I work, sleep, have LOTS of fun, pay the bills and try to keep myself alive long enough until I've decided I've seen all there is to see (Looks like that will be quite a LONG time!).

Live for the day, have fun at all times, and don't waste too much time!
