need to move 603 oil cooler.....any suggestions

I need to move the oil cooler.....so I can add a sec bumper and lights.....right now the driver side light is hitting the oil cooler.....there is enough room to move the oil cooler back.....but the fog light will be directly in front of oil cooler.......how much air needed to cool the oil.......thanx

I wouldn't deprive the oil cooler of any air flow personally. I would try to move the light. If that weren't an option I would move the oil cooler to another spot where it got the same amount of air or install an additional oil cooler.

I have not done this mod but I wouldn't deprive the oil cooler of to much air flow. You can't realy move the cooler to another place. Well unless you got a long thin one and put it in front of the radiator, like right below the PS cooler lines.

I'd make up some sort of brackets to re position it behind the new bumper and light. If you can't do that get rid of the light.

I'd relocate the lighting before oil cooler. The unit needs air flow (lots of it at speed) to keep oil temps in check. Think about your motor, turbocharger, etc.

But since it's the AMG bumper, I'm not sure what to do as it was not designed around a 603.

SEC bumper actually. Nice mod, they have the lower fog lights and look really good.

I suspect when I get my hands on a Euro bumper I will have trouble with the cooler as well. Although it is pretty far back to begin with.
