Driving, Death and Diesels and how you want to go out?

One of my older brothers called me from the open road, part of his weekly 1,000 mile commute. He did not drive his ’92 350SDL today, too cold. (Hey! No rod bender jokes). So he took “MY” TDI he kept begging me for years as it sat mostly gathering dust. “The heated seats alone make this a keeper car”.

Then came the comment….

“They might as well bury me with the Mercedes wheel mounted right there in the casket and put my hands on the wheel, because that is the only way I am truly comfortable.”

What a venture into the macabre!

I've made it clear to many people that, if I had my druthers, I'd like to be buried in my MB. Unless it's still running strong at that point, in which case, freeze me until the car dies ... then bury us both ... no use wasting a perfectly good engine like that! :D

Neither!!!

I wanna die a 90 year old man in bed with an 18 year old gal and a gunshot to the back of my head by her angry daddy!

How would your lovely lady friend feel? :P

Hatterasguy 02-16-2006 09:35 PM

On a boat, preferably. But I will probably have a MB in the stable for most of my life.

Chopperguy7307 02-16-2006 09:53 PM

I would like to die....

In any manner that will get my 15 seconds of fame on REAL TV. Diesel's, Pyrotechnics, and Firearms are bonus points. In an Ideal scenario I'd chase osama off a cliff in afghanistan while standing up through my Sunroof with 2 M1911's blazing. Then I'd blow the 200 lbs. of C4 in the Trunk. :bomb:

Hatterasguy 02-16-2006 10:19 PM

Well you don't have to do that in Afghanistan, thats about normal for an LA police chase!:D

The way I look at it is if you are going go out with a bang!

hehe... i got some plans....

Bury me in the benz, because the plan is as follows...

Get the f150
find my ex's cheating bastid current
run him over
fill both tanks, and 2 5 gal portabals
rampage through my city... ending off a little "tester road" thats been my stomping grounds forever.........

Yeah, my bumper sticker has a snipers scope outline, to the left of "Dont piss me off"... and no, its not on the benz

I would prefer to go out in a tragic gardening accident that the authorities say is best left alone.:D

as to my lady

friend (my lovely wife of 30 years) i hope she is with me.

if i live to be 85(i aspire to being the male equivalent of sophia petrillo) then shlomo will be 86. a ripe old age, eh? the vw will be 95 years old. dammit, ill need a car older than that.

so... for the people who are reading this in 2060...

i hear theres a white on blue 1979 240d with a dented passengers door for sale.

please dont put those fancy schmanzy rocket engines on it.
