With sufficient money, you can do anything.
But, why would you bother? The only reason to use such a large turbo is to force more air into the engine at high rpm's. Then, you need an expensive modification to the IP to get more fuel into it. Then, you need a huge intercooler to prevent a meltdown. It all feeds on itself. No sense doing one piece of the puzzle. If you have to do this, then be prepared to spend $4K and you'll probably get 200 hp from a 617 after a huge amount of time and effort. |

damn, im a broke teenager with a min wage job (reason why i run on free veggie ) so $4k is out of the question. But i was just curious. Id rather save up for the straight pipe.

i am going to develop a kit
that offers a really large (fake) turbo housing that just clamps on over your actual turbo so you can lift your hood and other folks will say "damn!...look at the size of his turbo! wish i had one". i will include an electronic device that mimics the sound of a peterbuilt coming on the turbo too.
sorry, getting silly, better go back to bed. tom w

Take that new trubo and make a jet engine out of it. There are numerous sites that tell you how to do it. I first found out about this on a site called www.jetpoweredbeercoler.com or something close to that. In the end all you have is a small jet engine that makes a lot of noise and goes nowhere but the getting there is fun.
