Bendix or ATE 83 300D

Hi All,
For the life of me I can't figure out which brand of calipers are on my car. Is there some straight forward way to tell between ATE and Bendix calipers? There are different hardware kits between the two brands. I'm replacing pads and rotors on my old beast so it'll pass inspection. Calipers still seem fine.

Thanks

Don't know about Bendix but the ATE calipers i've seen have the ATE logo, basically a scripted ATE. Might need to wire brush the caliper a bit if the rust is hidding it.

My 83 300D has ATE.

On my 300SD, the Bendix calipers have a clip holding the pad retaining pins in place. The ATE calipers have an internal spring that holds the pad retaining pins.

On my 89 300SE the original are ATE with flat spring type antirattler spring. The Bendix remans I bought have a wire antirattle spring that hooks aroound a couple of nubs which the ATE does not have. Besides that on my bench I can tell no difference.
