I would stay away from using VO straight with one tank. The purpose of the two tank system is to get the VO in the second tank up to a good hot temp so it will flow and burn properly. If you dump straight VO into the stock tank it will have to be heated to run it properly with out problems in the long term.
There are two way to run a one tank system.
1. With a heat fuel pickup rod, that uses engine coolant to heat the tank. Which only works once the engine is warmed up. You could probably make an electric one but you would have to either plug it in or it too would only work when the car was running.
2. I believe someone makes tank heaters that adhere to the tank. It's electric so has to either be plugged in to heat, or only work when the car is running.

In both of these if you can only heat the tank when the car is running this brings up the problem of when the car needs to be started with the tank full of cold VO.

Agree 100%

I've checked out their website and I call BS... I saw the car on ebay w/ their 'conversion' and I sent them a nasty little email... I wonder how/if they will respond.

What do they do exactly? i know elsbett does the one tank conversion but they modify the injectors and add a heat exchange, plus they warrant the whole engine and fuel system.

Yeah I've heard of lovecraft and they are a bunch of hacks IMO. The biggest hack in the biofuel industry that I have heard of. I think there system is a hole drilled in the stock filter with a 12volt heater inserted in it. Couldn't hold a candle to elsbett.

I say phhht on single tank systems. In my opion, its just too risky. I don't relish the thought of ruining my ip so I'm as picky as possible with my oil and making sure its warm enough. I have a copper heat exchanger in the tank, glow plug heater before the filter, and a VegTherm heater right before the ip. Not taking shots at all you blenders, I just wouldn't use a single tank system unless it was an Elsbett.

They make single tank systems. Very good and reliable but also very pricey. There's the link. I looked at them because they'll do it for you and guarentee it but there's no way I had the $$$ for it.
