im about to replace those lines and thank god i have a spare cooler and oil filter housing.

.......use heat.......and have a lot of patience..........move the nut slightly........then move it back........repeat about 1000X.

Four nuts.......no damage.

thanks for the advise. ill take my tourch with me when i do them. they will def. get some anti sieze when i put the new ones on

I started out to replace my oil cooler lines. They were leaking badly and there was a groove cut into one of them by the fan belt when my motor mount collapsed. That groove looked like it was going to go at any time. I think the hose was weeping...

The collar was frozen to the brass fitting at the housing. Just as the fitting was about out of the housing, it broke the threaded boss on the housing.

It's been close to 2 months this car has been down.

Today I connected the new hoses to the cooler, put the motor mount back on and put on a new engine shock and mount. Now I just need that housing...

May as well mention here too that the 300D (oil line pressure gauge) filter hsg is not interchangeable with the 300SD (oil pressure sensor) filter hsg unless you can find the proper size adapter.
