My dad loves the GTI's. But he fell in love with the classic rabbit GTI, he was telling me all kinds of stories and had tons of pics of the car. He said for a stock VW the GTI could do a burn out by just keeping the pedal down to the floor and the car would rocket down streets with no hesitation. He wants to buy another one but he has to many other things on his hands to work on (the 300D )

The GTIs can be monsters if you install those computer chips that up the boost from the turbo and such.

If it is the one I am thinking of he was in a real sharp late 90's silver 7 series BMW. Those were W126's actually.

Not the first car chase sceen where W126's have given late 90's Bimmers pretty good runs.
