This is why you buy something like that
Cause the girls don't know any better, meanwhile all the guys know yours sportin' a noise maker and not really a turbo.

Thats like those expensive tailpipes that make the rice burners sound tougher than they really are. I was able to acheive that on my toyota pickup when the muffler fell off.

Hey though, in all reality, if it really worked, I'd buy one as soon as I got the money. Nothing sounds cooler than that nice loud whistle. I'd even put two on! One for each exit pipe!

Frankly, that's the one thing I like about diesel pickups that I wish my car did.

BUT, I have a feeling that they're a money wasting joke.......

Heard somewhere that using a washer can do the same thing? True?

I might administer a beating to anyone sporting this sort of joke "noisemaker"...not to mention that in many places thety are becoming outlawed heh.

If you want to noise, man up and get a car with a REAL turbo. then put a stupid K&N and it and listen to that turbo scream....atlesat until you drive it 50k miles and then realized that the turbo no longer has vanes becuase of all the dirt/dust dulling them out.

if anything that noisemaker would make your car SLOWER due to more backpressure on an otherwise good exhaust system.

You can hear the turbo on my car...but its not becuas I have a noisemaker

...and yes the noise is very intimidating when it comes from the real deal.

OK Guy's, You want noise backed up. Need to listen to one of my Stingrays with side pipes. I may even trade one for a GOOD turbo MB.

ALL RIGHT! All the ricers will have one. I suppose if you've got twin pipes you'll need two.

I agree that it is a sad, sad item that guy has there. Backpressure is probably increased...and so on. I prefer a real turbo.

I reeealy hate those dumb "whaaaaaa" mufflers that people put on their honda's and neons etc....talk about stupid. It sounds like a "powerful go kart". A 617 at 5000RPM sounds WAY more intimidating and powerful than a 4cyl gasser with one of those stupid amplifier mufflers....

now now boys.

just because some bootleg taiwanese company makes an object that bolts to it does not make the little neon a bad car.

leon is quieter than shlomo, 3x as quick, 2/3 as thirsty and much more comfortable to sit in. he revvs high and does whats asked of him

i like the shlomo for interstates more-- i think the metal is worth more than airbags.

I would make fun of that on a Neon! On a MB it would be just shamefull.

What a stupid thing, proves a sucker is born every minute.

Even a VW 4 cylinder opposing engine sounds better than that thing on any car haha...

I need to record my VW with the unmuffled stinger on it...REALLY loud and very oldschool VW agressive

Normally it gets a quietpack muffler
