GP and block heater amps.
 

Does anyone know how many amps a pencil type gp draws? And the same for the block heater?

My 1975 115/300d has a block heater that is disconnected. What controls the heater. There appears to be a relay missing from the bracket just in front of the fuse box. There is an electric cable with a relay type plug on it laying just below the bracket. Is there an switch on the dash that controls the relay?

Living in S. Texas I only need the block heater about 3 times a year but it would be nice to have it operating.
