By the way the guy is a scammer and should be reported to craigslist. I saw the ad in the SF bay area craigslist and it was listed that the car was available in south san francisco (were i am) i wanted to take a look at it out of curiosity and the guy gave me some bull**** story and so the car isnt in SSF and now its posted in miami craigslist

He is a scammer but those do exist and have non-turbo 617's.

I just got back from Costa Rica, I'm importing another FJ40 (Toyota Land Cruiser) NOT A JEEP!

You can import any car/truck that was imported here before. So, they sold the fj40 here in the 70's and early 80's. They met the DOT specs at the time. So I can import the same make/model/series. Same thing with Land Rover Defenders. I have a friend who is a Registard Importer (very hard to get) and he does well bringing in the Defenders from all over the world.

So buy it!
