87' 300SDL removing trim under the blower motor

Hi all;

I trying to replace the brushes on the blower motor this weekend, when the stomach flu finally lets me go, and I'm stuck on the trim that covers the blower motor. I've removed the three screws in the front just below the glove box and one small screw holidng the carpeted part to the plastic honeycomb that sits just below the blower motor . There's also the plastic screw on the left side thats been turned 90 degrees and is now loose (this was all actually Wed. night, but then said flu bug hit and I'm just now able to sit and type). Not wanting to break anything, is there something else holding this trim panel in? It seems that there is because when I pull it stays put. Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers.

There is a hidden screw on the right beneath and behind the door duct. To remove access you need to remove the right panel in the footwell. This comes off by pulling toward the back of the car, but you need to pop off the sill and pull back the chafing strip first.

as ever

Worked like a charm, thanks Paul.

Motor is out and brushes are replaced, have 12V going to motor and continuity at motor. So we'll see if she runs tomorrow when I put things back together.
