How much is my 1999 E300 Worth? (Lots of Pictures)

I was wondering how much my 1999 E300 was worth, its black on black with 65k miles, has the heated seats, comand, xenons, headlamp washers, Rear Parktronic etc. Has an A pillar mounted boost gauge, speedtuning chip that is good for 228hp 315lb ft (according to speedtuning), and 18 inch AMG SLK 55 rims with Contisport Contact 2's. I have power folding mirrors, 2000+ MF Display and Cluster, and an AMG Body kit that will be installed in 1 month. Thanks

I agree.......that vehicle under the M/B lights would definitely sell for $24K.

But, if you sell it privately, you can't get what the dealer can get........so.......figure somewhere between $18K and $20K........but.......these things are fickle........one week on e-bay you might get $15K and the next week the exact same vehicle fetches $19K.

Well I suppose there is ONE good thing about winter! Gives me time to tear into the MB. Can't work on the boat right now, too damned cold! Of course, boat maintenence makes automotive stuff look quick and cheap.... RT

.......truer words were never spoken. I never did get the SeaRay back in the water. For the three or four times I would use it in a season, the bill came to about $1.5K per excursion.

I'll just run the party boat and get paid for doing it.

You captain that??? Although I like "cigarette" boats and the like for pure speed reasons I could never see the practicality of them or any other powerboat for that matter. I have a buddy with a 48ft Hatteras. It costs him $2500 to fill up and that doesn't get him very far. My "new" Ericson 38 will be lucky to burn $100 in diesel a season. If boating is supposed to be relaxing then why are most powerboaters in a hurry? They always seem anxious to get somewhere when the journey is the best part not the destination. I suppose I could deal with a trawler since they are cheap to run but a sailboat is much nicer to be on when it gets nasty. Hows this for a highjacked thread? I'd better stop now... RT

Yep, when the boss doesn't run it.

My SeaRay would burn 10 gallons per hour...........a basic 350hp chevy engine.

So, if you run it around the bay for three hours on a Sunday..........there goes about $100. worth of fuel.

And, it's not all that fast........maybe 18 kts. running at 3000 rpm. Can't run it slower and stay on plane.

Now, that charter boat is a classic. Top speed: 6 kts. Two 6-71's. 250 hp each.

Very cool on the charter boat! $100 a day is not too bad considering. I'm just a sailboat guy. read=cheap! Wind is free and usually there, ususally. RT

I love the sailboats. Down in the Carribbean they are fantastic. But, here, with an average depth of 3' in the bay, they are just about useless. Who wants to sail up a channel with all the powerboats??

Exceptionally nice one. I would hope it was actually worth a tad more than that, if you found the right buyer.

And yes, why are you thinking of selling it? Are you having problems, just lost interest, or moving up?
