4 sale in Greenville,NC
This is not mine! I just drove by it leaving my office for lunch and I had to call about it.
81 240D 250-300k(est.) lt. ivory ext. a few minor dings no glaring rust. 2 owners, current owner bought when it was 1yr old. Car was "fully serviced" then drove from Cin., OH to here. It has sat for last 2.5 yrs. She said as far as she knows it just needs gp's and a batt. charge She told me she wants $500 for it, but I think she will do better. her ph. # is 252-341-6559. If anyone would like me to look at anything else on this car, let me know. If one of my kids was getting ready to drive, I would be all over this.

It is looking a little rough at a closer look. Since it spent a lot of yrs. up north, it has some rust in the usual places. All the rubber is really wasted around the windshield and rear win. I tried to pop the hood, but couldn't. Oh well.

Gone!
Did someone from the forum by this car? I called the seller this morning after rethinking it, but it was sold. It's been sitting out there for a few weeks. I started this thread yesterday and it's gone!

Lots of times you simply have to hop on these things quickly if they are very cheap. The more they cost, the more prudence is warranted...... I wouldn't have wanted to deal with rust and a front and rear window seal. I'm guessing someone bought it for a running parts car.
