Is this telescoping steering column a direct bolt in for my 1983SD?
I am wondering, hoping actually that this telescoping wheel from the W126 1991 420sel sedan will be a simple install into my 1983 w126 300SD? My Dad is getting old and the ability to get a litle more room for his getting in and out would be a plus. My back is also fused and has a lamenectomy. This would also make it easier for me to get in and out of our new car. I emailed the seller and he says he is not 100% sure it will work in my car. Even though his ad clearly states it will work in my 1983 300SD. So before I buy this one, or a boneyard one I really want to know if it will work in my car. His price is low but his shipping is $110 to my door which is not inexpensive. Still for $160 total to my door that would be pretty short money for power telescoping for my steering wheel. Thanks for the help guys! John
