Question W126 evaporator or heater core R&R DIY with pictures

I am searching for a W126 evaporator or heater core R&R DIY with pictures that I have seen before.
My concern is that it may have been a member who was deleted.

Roy,
I've also searched for dash removal and or evap/heater core R&R and found little.

But, it looks like I'm going to be replacing the evaporator on my W126 (300SDL) in the very near future (next week). I'll do a photo essay on the R&R and post here.

Thumbs up Thank you.

Special interest in dash R&R and heater box R&R.
My thought = 90% of the job is getting the HVAC box out onto the work bench.
Please feel free to takeover this thread for your post.

Understood. I was hoping to get started on that project earlier in the week but last night was the first evening I had time to dig into it. And, in a few minutes, I'm heading to the farm to pour concrete footings for our strawbale wellhouse so nothing will get updated until next week.
