bio willie

as i said in another thread, i finally found a 300D worth keeping, i knew there was a local distributor here in San Diego of Bio Diesel, so i went on an empty tank and filled up. it was funny when i went therre they called it bio willie bio diesel fuel http://www.wnbiodiesel.com/index.html thought you all might find this interesting, seems it is currently only available in California,Texas, South Carolina and Georgia. car seems to run well., no problems as of yet.

Stock up on spin on and pre filters and carry the tools to change them with you in the car.

like i said in the other post, that won't be necessary, the tank was recently pulled and cleaned and coated at a radiator shop. no debris ther to clog the filters

then have at it you lucky man... fill her up on some sweet B100 and drive away laughing at opec and the arabs

I wish BioWillie would come to Houston. Right now, it looks like they're just focusing mostly on the I-35 corridor between Austin and DFW. Houston has I-10 running through it, one of the important east/west transcontinental interstates that sees a LOT of diesel traffic. I've sent an e-mail to them asking when we'd see it in Houston (a futile attempt, I know), but got no response.

C'mon, Willie, I know you have a E320CDI so you just "might" be lurking around here, and perhaps if you're reading this I suggest you open up your next location in Houston.:D

Well it looks like you are set then.

No bio-Willie or bio-diesel around here. I'll just stick to bio-teriyaki. :D

looks like they only currently have B20 so that is 80% petroleum diesel?

You are correct. Only 20% isn't all that great. How much is it per gallon?

Hey H-Town,

You can get B99 at Houston Biodiesel. I think it's $2.50/gallon right now.

B99 for 2.50 is 1 cent more expensive than D2 ... D2 is 2.49 in my area... i wish i could go to a pump and get B99 i wouldnt mind paying for it .. plus 2.50 rounds everything out.. 2 gallons for 5$ i like evenness.

but but as soon as my car is paid off im getting back into the alternative fuels game.. but this time im going SVO
