Talking Kids

Wish I had the 'ching to play like that! It says Rental fun on the side of the video, but it is probably some rich kid out playing with dad's car when Mom and Dad are vacationing somewhere!

Wonder what the difference in tread depth is after they got done burning the tires??

Jeeze!!! Talk about abusing a brand new car! He must have burned 80% of the tread off those rear tires! Those cdi's are flipping powerful I might get to drive one in germany in May!! My dad and I will likely be going there for a week or more, and we're going to try to rent a S400cdi! I am aching to experience it!!!

I guess if its a rental then he did not care about the tires. He needs to enter the sport of drifting.

They're really nitpicky about their rental cars in europe though, they look them over pretty good for any damage/issues after you bring it back. Maybe they're not that way in the UK, but in germany they're pretty anal about it.

We flaked a teeny piece of black paint off the bumper of our C220 cdi wagon we had there when unloading luggage, so my dad went under the car and found some grease, and rubbed it on the flaked off part, from more than 10cm away you'd never notice it. Problem solved. It'd have never worked if the car wasn't black. Also goes to show how cruddy that new paint is. I saw an AMG55 super shiny black sedan in chicago last july and he had a jagged piece of paint flaked off the bottom of his drivers door roughly the size of a large pancake! Aluminum was shining right through.

The license plate on the car in the video was not a european one. It was small like ours(N.A.).

I get the impression that the 320 video took place in CA. We did that with my friends E300D, just rips the tires up a bit doesn't bother the car any. Tires can be replaced....

Doughnuts are fun. To bad he couldn't have gotten it going a little faster and slide her sideways. Later MB's have LSD rears so both tires spin and you can really get the rear going. Drives the ESP nuts. Try that with the ESP, you can't do it amazing stuff.
