Where Should I Buy Injectors?
I'd like to have a few extra OM 616/617 injectors around to have for spares. Good quality OEM equivalent.
What's a good source? What should be avoided? (Indian?) Am I better off getting them from the salvage engineer (ie junkyard flunky)? Ken300D

What kind of outfit do you go to get injectors locally rebuilt? Who would I go to?

outfit
here in my area there is a outfit that rebuilds turbos and injectors for tractor trailoer trucks... and it is common across the country.... these guys have a large staff so its a good business... they will rebuild and then calibrate them for you....

look for something called a diesel injection shop, prefereably a shop that's authorized for Bosch injection repair, they pretty much all have that credential

That's what I did for injectors, picked up a few sets. I need to have them balanced and cleaned here...

Hi,
are only nozzels with the # 240 available in US? For veggie we use i.e. # 259 or 265. Kolbenschmid is a German manufacturer for the nozzels. Anybody in SC, Charleston area with veggie conversion need a set (just nozzles or even adjusted complete sets). Tom

What's a reasonable price to pay for someone to rebuild one of my 617 injectors? I've seen them advertised for $35-45 advertised. Presumably cheaper if I take my own to a diesel injector repair facility?
