They had an oil cooler problem after time trials and had to start (basicly) from the back of the pack. Currently they are leading P1 overall.

An amazing machine. This is such a rough and bumpy track that they should have no problem in Le Mans if they survive.

No No, running 1&2 now 20 spots in 40 minutes. They are the most powerful out there. Now if they can handel the endurance.

Love the anouncers talking up diesels!!

I stand corrected....."Capello flew through the field and passed Timo Bernhard in the No. 7 Penske Racing Porsche RS Spyker for second on lap 19, just 35 minutes in."

We got a winner, folks! The pole sitter, which had to start from the pits, just won. The other Audi had to be retired after overheating. Sweet, though, to see that diesel cross the line, and to listen to the commentators sing the praises of the technology. Really cool.

Can't wait for Le Mans!

Capello's de man

New track record setter (Capello) and fine driving to give Kristensen another win. No doubt that if the sister car was there it would have been 1st & 2nd win like last years R8's.
YES onto LeMans

Enjoyed every second of the footage that I saw.

They were playing "in car" video from the TDI and Addicted and I were enjoying it.

That low end power is AMAZING.

Nice article Bodhi

Yeah, I offered all my coworkers a round of diesel on me tonight in celebration, but oddly, no takers!

The future of diesel is here! This should proove to the "misguided" americans what diesels are like now.

Not a good day for Porche. Many, many problems with the 6/7 cars.

lol - I'm at a hotel in clearfield (for work) right now, half of my family lives in state college...

-Very well written article, really reaches out to those who have not considered a diesel automobile.
(I should fwd this to my cousin in Phillipsburg - she's got a TDI...)

Good deal !
-John
