I forget who you were trying to get ahead of or stay ahead of in miles with the SDL. Is the race still on or did someone win?

It was Alan Hamm to 250K.

But, I don't remember the outcome and I don't see Alan around much lately??

I always wondered about that too, who won??


I have 235,597 right now, who has similar and wants to race to 250k? With the driving I expect to do over the next 4-5 months I should be nearing 250k by the end of the summer....


My dad's '83 is going to be nearing/hitting 270,000 within the next 1.5 months, lots of driving coming up.... Its currently at 266,820 or so....

Oh yeah, I wonder where Alan is havn't seen him around lately.

I won by a few weeks. We were racing to 250k, I think I'm up to 254kish now havn't looked at the odo in about 6 months.

I'm not going to race to 300k, since I'm not driving the SDL all that much anymore I'll be lucky if I role 5k-7k a year on it. I may break 300k in 15-20 years!

Actually only half the bet was who could make it to 250k first. The other half was who would spend more doing it. I am 90% sure I won that as well.
