That guy aught to be shot! Drill'n a hole in the roof and then topping it off with a Jaguar Gas Cap!!!!

The whole time that guy is like (my oil is never that clean) Poor MB..Interior missing and all. Sounded good though on start up so he takes some what care of it.

Looked like he was using a wood box and who knows what inside. I love his story about the thing overflowing all over the car...Ahhhh some people.

At least he has the right idea and is driving an MB. I have to give him that much.

My thought exactly but batteryboy (from the greasecar forum) is just funny and crazy like that to put a jaguar gas cap on the roof of a wagon. And now i know that the bmw diesel is just like a 300D power wise.

Hi Greazybenz,

My wife and I if we get time before I head off to training this summer are going to make a trip down to S.F. Nothing is for sure yet and I know my Wagon can Hold a LOT of VO with that SLS but not that much. Do you think you would have some that we would be able to buy off of you when we come down...if we do.

The car isn't even converted yet...only had it a few weeks...and needs other lovings first but I have big plans. It would be cool to come down and meet a couple other forum members.

My wife has never been there so we are going to come down and just be tourists for a couple days and then stay with some freinds in Napa for a night on the way up. Then hopefully comeback home shower and then head to Vancouver Island for awhile. One last hooraah before working for the Big Man.

Ohh and by the way...did you notice the SAG in his suspension. SLS needed some loving.

buy?? come on now if i get it free you get it free. Just bring your own containers and take what youd like. I only have two 30gal trash cans in the backyard that have like 15gallons in each can but my friend works at the local red robin restaraunt and they have a dumpster full of oil you can take. I can lend you a pump and you can filter it in my backyard down to 1 mircon.

Thanks,

That is really cool. Always up for seeing how other people filter and set up their cars. I can read the forums all day but seeing and chatting with others is much more fun.

So you must know some of these guys. That is cool that you have that many to hang out with. I know there are lots of people and met them but none that I hang out with really. I do with Brandon314159 but he doesn't have a system yet. But we talk about it and he has a good fitlering system that he is going to try and set up next week. I'm going to try and help out.

I will have to keep in touch then. I'm looking forward to the trip already.

There is one greaser in my area, she drives a W115 220D, has a greascar kit with some custom heating stuff as well. Going to meet up with her this saturday and share some oil sources.

Just PM me if you decide to come down to good ol SF. Just as a tourist tip, if your into seafood the best and i mean BEST place to go to is bubba gumps at the fisherman's wharf great restaraunt!

How many times did he say "That's the cleanest oil my car has ever seen!"?

Greasy benz, What kind of filter set up are you using. I am filtering my WVO
down to 5 microns using filter bags. But would like to get it down to 1 micron.
Thanks Jay

I thought the filler cap on the roof was a neat idea. I wouldn't do it to a good looking benz, but maybe an old beat up one, and I would have probably tried to put it on the side. It was cool to see the cleaning system that guy used for his VO. If I go veggie I will definetly be cleaning the oil as much as possible, and it sounds like he does a pretty good job.

First i filter through jeans, and it really works good!! Found out about it from the greasecar forum they say brand new levi jeans are actually 5 micons!
Then i heat it and run it through a 1 mircon water filter, it has a 1 micron catridge.
