I think it'd be kinda cool to have that car, just to see alllllll the reactions people would give. Bright green 68hp diesel sedan with "pimp speed" rims wow. I can just imagine people's expressions on my conservative college campus.....

If I had the $$ and the car is in good mechanical condition + no rust I'd probably look into it. My only problem is no $$, SD uses it all....

I wonder if that paint job is any good. I would drive it but loose the pimp wheels and put on some color matched MB hubcaps.

yeah those extra wide wheels would probably just fling rocks at the paint job anyways when driving, and michigan potholes would probably destroy them in no time, so I'd have to agree on the color matched MB hubcaps, imagine how cool that'd look

The handling on that thing must be intense with such wide/low wheels. My girlfriend's buick century has wider (only a couple inches) wheels/tires and is a couple inches lower than stock, and that thing feels grippy when your turning....its dying of rust though, a shame with only 82,000 miles on it (its a '93) so far, and it seems to run just fine. When its dead I'll get her into a MB like she should be

Those offset "frog" (As i've heard them described) wheels will kill the wheel bearings in short order.

That's not fair. I've seen FAR too many white people (usually teenagers) that do the exact same thing. Bling, Rap, thumping bass (and vibrating licence plate), offset wheels, fart cans, fake turbo sounds, lowering, lifting, offroading, etc.

My good ol' Redneck Oakie friends were very good at "altering" their cars/trucks. In fact, they are the ones that got me to run with no muffler for 4 years now! I may not be a traditional redneck like tham, but I'll take a pickup with an 8" lift over a lowrider car any day.

That's funny since I drove an East German Trabi that was a very similar tone of green. Only the Trabi was 2 or 3 cylinders, 2-cycle to boot, but didn't have the whitewalls.
