Rear door window will not roll down
'83 MB 300D
The rear driver's side window will not roll down using either the center window button or the button located on the door. Are these two buttons or their wiring dependent on each other for the window to work? The other windows work fine. JWJ

I forgot to add
When you press the buttons nothing at all happens. There is not grinding noise or anything.

Possible problems...In probable order of failure.
Window motor brushes burned up or motor very dirty inside so commutator (sp?) doesn't spin. Plastic gear box on top of motor seized, so gears won't turn regulator. 12v not getting to motor. Switches so dirty that don't make electrical contact. Regulator seized and motor can't turn it. Pull the door panel. Try rapping lightly on the silver motor while depressing switch. Then check for 12v at the motor lead with switch depressed. Then go from there.
