One thing you could do is take the fuse out and check it for small cracks. I've read here that there are often cracks that aren't visible without a very close inspection.

Do the relay prongs look dirty? If your car isn't starting I would check the plugs first, they are usually more likely to go than the relay.

If you have checked the plugs with a multi-meter, bear in mind that even when the plugs test OK, they frequently aren't. When I changed my plugs a few weeks ago the old ones tested fine but several weren't working well. The new plugs made a huge difference.

I doubt its the prongs. Look at this pictorial and see if it will help you any.

If your car is having trouble starting you may have many other problems but a dirty glow plug relay I'd say would be the least likely of them all. Do a search, you'll have a million pages to read about a million different causes.

Hope it's not low compression, good luck.

I took my module apart when I got my car 3 years ago just because I was curious what's in there. If I remember right I resoldered the module, burnished the relay contacts. They were worn so I put a good drop of 60/40 solder on them then filed them flat. Working perfectly every day for 3 years now, knock on wood.
