All nice stories...but

..I wonder if there are any frames for other models that would fit, or if there are places to get a custom sized convertible frame to fit an M-B. ....

Anyone have a relevant answer to this ....?

Austin, dude, I highly recommend enjoying your diesel sedan, and if a convertible is a necessity, find you a decent SL for sunny days. Besides being predominantly a "girl's car", convertibles are a whip most of the time....

I think I just felt lke sawwing the top off my car today....

I may one day go with the idea of dropping a diesel into an SL....
