Number of 91 350 SDL imported into North America??
 

I live in British Columbia, Canada and currently am driving a 81 240D.

I have a friend who has a 91 350 SDL that he is trying to get collector license plates for it. In British Columbia we have classic status for cars more than 25 years old in "original condition" as well as collector status for limited edition cars that are at least 15 years old.

I think his car would qualify but he needs to find out how many were imported into North America both Canada and the US.

Does anyone know where he can find these import numbers. He is still waiting for a response from Mercedes.

1989 = 18 units
1990 = 2032 units
1991 = 875 units.

Cost in 1990...$56,800.00.
