'81 300D Window Base

The base piece that holds the actual window glass, and is bolted to the regulator is resuty and bent so much that it clips everything near it when my window goes up and down. I ordered a new regulator on eBay think that piece came with it . . . it doesn't.

Anybody know what that base piece is called? I can't seem to find it on Fastlane . . . is it a dealer only item?

Thanks,
Eric

You're talking about the piece that actually holds the glass? I don't know what it's called. I would probably just bring the old one to a junk yard and see if they have one. Eurasian Motors in denver seems to have a good amount of MB stuff:

Bad Eurasian Experience

I'll try PullnSave this weekend . . . I had a horrible experience with Eurasian. I had accidentally paid for an engine with my company card, called back explained the situation and gave them my personal card number. They billled both cards! After 8 months of trying to work with them to get it resolved, I finally had to file a complaint with the credit card company and have them resolve it. Eurasian was never rude, they just never followed through with their word. Doing a little research, I found that they've had many complaints lodged against them. I guess with an inexpensive part like this, not much can go wrong, but I'd rather not support them if I can avoid it.

Thanks,
Eric
