First Aid Box Renew

My 300D First Aid Kit container in the hat rack was looking shabby.
Planned on painting it, but thought I'd try a little Comet cleanser and sponge scrub.

The picture shows on left what the scrubbing did. On the right is
how it looked before I started.

This is the box finished.

I know this is not up there with sway bar replace, that job was awesome.

But I have tinkered with odds and ends to relieve stress.

Nice Job! you are lucky the green cross is still visible, many I see have deteriorated. What do you keep in it when its back on the rear shelf?

I saw one that someone used as a puke bucket. Some backseat passenger must have lost it on the way down the switchbacks

Puke bucket - good idea. My driving tends to do that to people.
I have the first aid kit in there.

That cross I made myself, look at the first picture, you will see it all tore up.

I made a new label for my temperature wheel also. Dealer does not supply
sticker for vertical button early temp wheel. Only for later ones.

Wow your right, a new label. Have you thought of going into the business of refurbishing these? If you've seen what they bring on eBay you might.

I love it when things look beyond repair, and all it takes is a little elbow grease and some love and it looks like new. Very satisfying.
