Sunvisor Question?
i have been shopping for some burgundy sunvisors for my 85 300D, and i am not finding much. i have come across some W124 300D and 300E sunvisors that look identical to what i need in my w123. does anyone know if they are the same, and would fit?

One of the beauties of junk yard shopping is that you can try out this kind of a swap. If it were me, I'd visit a local U pull it yard, and carefully remove a sunvisor from a W124 ( or any other candidate car) and try it in a W123 also at the yard. If it fits, and you like the look, who cares if it is a "perfect" replacement? After the trial fitting, I would return the sunvisor to the donor vehicle, if I did not want to buy it.

No, W124 sunvisors will not fit a W123 correctly. They look almost the same, but the W124 visors are too long to fit the recess in the roof and to catch the plastic clip. I bought a pair of W124 visors to replace the tattered visors in my '84 300TD and discovered that they didn't fit when I tried to install them.
