300TD Wagon Rear CV Axel Same As 300D Sedan?

Hello,

I Just bought a 300D from Florida, i towed it back to green bay Wisconsin on a car dolly...

It has a rear CV Axel boot cracked in half, I plan on parting out the rusted out 85 300TD I have, I Wanted to know if the rear CV Axel's from the 300TD will work on the 300D i have.

Thanks for your help!

I sure hope you disconnected the driveshaft for that tow.

Yes they are the same axle you can use the left or right from the parts car.

Yeah, Drive shaft was out...

Thanks for the replies, I just did that and I'm starting to tear the wagon apart.

Yes they are the same, however the shims will probably not be the same. Just keep the shims for both cars and you will be able to figure out which ones will work.
