Touareg V10 TDI

I've been eyeing this car for a while. Too expensive for me. But it's nice to look at it drool for a while :-)

Maybe another two years, I'll be save enough to be able to buy a 2004 with perhaps 100K miles.

After working for VW for a while, and seeing some of the quality and parts issues they have, I would stay far away from that creature.

Do anybody knows how much the new Tourareg V10 TDI goes for? I check online and I think the 2006 ones are available in the $60K range. If that is so, the present $48K bid price seems high for a used 2004 model.
Also, I do not believe the Tourareg V10 TDI gives average milage in the 20s, given that this SUV has a 10-cylinder 4921 cc engine. The EPA figures (17 city/23 Hwy) often does not reflect the real driving conditions. Anybody has one?

Here's a real nice VW diesel vehicle instead. And it's mine; my friend is selling it for me.

The T-Case went out on the one I know of with less than 5k on the Odometer. It may be more of Borg Warners fault though...
