Need some advice...selling my 1977 300D
 

The time to part with my old 300D has come. It has served our family well since my Dad bought it new. I need some advice on selling it, whether on this site or ebay. Here's the bad,

Reverse is pretty much out. Forward is great, but it takes a while for the pressure to build up before you can back-up.

It has developed a pretty decent valve tap. I haven't pulled off the valve cover to take look, but the tap is not good. Still has power, like normal for a non-turbo, but the tap is troubling.

Rust.... need I say more.

The good news

It has a lot of new parts within the last two or so years.

Radiator, alternator, front end rebuild, new rotars and rebuilt calipers all the way around, rebuilt injectors, timing chain, camshaft, rocker arms, michelins in good shape and the servo doesn't leak, used window regulators. I'm sure I left some off, but you get the gist of it. I also have filters and some parts I never got a chance to swap out. Also the car is drivable. Prior to the valve tap, I would have felt comfortable driving it across country....... but now I would be gun shy, but it is drivable and handled my 80 mile round trip to/from work like a champ.

Advice is,,, sell it here or ebay. I don't think I can handle the mess of parting it out and wouldn't know what to do with what's left.

As always you all have helped me keep this old bird running. I would be remis if I didn't ask your advice on this topic.
