Comes Forward The Dummy

Sometimes I can be more stupid than I even thought I could be. I just did a major brake job on my 300D and realize I used the blue anti-squeal paste on the sides of the pads as well as the new pins that hold the pads. Brakes feel fine. Will I be OK like this for a week until I can get in there and clean them off and use grease on the sides like I should have? I was working on 4 cars at the same time, me who can't walk and chew gum without getting hurt.

Your supposed to put it on the sides and the pins.

As long it isn't on the side that presses on the rotor your OK.

1) You are supposed to paste the sides of the pads, per Phil. and the BACKS as well. Don't know why you pasted the pins? I guess they're OK as along as you have the cotter pins secure...

NOW What do you mean by re bleeding the fuel system????

So I didn't screw up! Great. The pins I was just hoping to keep them from rusting solid again. I glopped the back with some orange stuff I had for brake squeal, worked good in my other MB.
Re-Bleeding, pump the living s..t out of the hand bleeder. didn't know what else to call it (ok, re priming then, now it comes to me). Been bleeding to many brakes.
