IP Cover screw oil leak ?

As many of you know, I have been through a lot with my car, mainly with the injection pump and other fuel related items. The IP that is on my car now came from a junkyard but works great. Recently I have been trying to find and fix any leaks. I fixed the very slight coolant leak that I had, and one of my smaller oil leaks. Now, I finally determined that there are small drips of oil coming from the injection pump. After running the engine, and getting under the car (engine off) I can see drips of oil comming from the back cover plate of the IP (under rack pin) But, its not coming from the gasket, and the screws are all tight. The rack pin locking nut is also tight (not leaking). The oil cooler line connections are tight and not leaking. The oil stream flows down from the IP to the oil filter housing, and drips of to the ground there. When I touch the bottom of the gasket (on the IP cover plate) my finger comes out clean... but when I touch the bottom left screw on this plate I can feel the oil and my finger comes out oily. So the leak is coming from this screw, but how? Could the gasket have failed around this screw causing my leak?

Sady, perhaps it's a screw thread that requires a sealant because it terminates slightly inside the housing. Just a thought. Some pump guy may comment hopefully. You could remove screw and perhaps put a small sealing washer under the head and install or a little sealant on the threads but it may be too oily to try that. You are hopefully only under lift pump pressure in that area. Not very much pressure if so.:)
