I would think so, as the long box is 7 full feet long, longer than most 2nd Gen Dodge full size pickups (I had both once....long things went into the Comanche).

I would certainly look at a shortbox Comanche if I was doing this swap...we can smoke the tires on my daughter's Eliminator with the 4.0 with 396,000km on it - the weight reduction is worth it. Haven't tried it in 4wd, but I be we could do it with that too.
