Baffle in fuel tank?

I was thinking of makeing my stock tank my veggie tank but wonder if there is a baffle in it? The could be a problem with the heat exchanger I wanna put in. Also would a 83 300D and a 82 300sd have the same tank?

There is no baffle in the tank in my 1975 300d or im my 1977 450slc.

no baffle in my '85 300d's tank.
